Executive producer

With a Master's degree in Cultural Production from Brandeis University in Boston/USA and training in Audiovisual from FAAP, she has been an executive producer for over 25 years. She works directly throughout the production chain, providing services to the main players in the market. She worked at ANCINE, in the International Relations sector, encouraging partnerships between foreign companies and Brazilian production companies in co-productions. At Cinefilm*, as Executive Director, she is responsible for the company's strategic planning and the management of new business, partnerships, and audiovisual content.

Silvia Hayashi is an editor, researcher, and professor in the Department of Film, Radio, and Television at the School of Communications and Arts, University of São Paulo.

Director, screenwriter and editor

Director, screenwriter, and editor, she has created feature films, short films, series, and installations. Her work is permeated by issues of gender and faith, race, and socio-environmental concerns. Her documentary features SOLITUDE & FAITH, SLAM: VOICE AND UPRISING, and MY FORTRESS have been screened at various festivals and have won awards at the Rio Film Festival, Tiradentes Film Festival, Fim Cine, Nova Frontier, and ABFF. Together with the Manifesto Impromptu collective, she has dedicated herself to researching language in the field of fiction.
