Our Script is Marginal! Writing and Processes of Audiovisual Narratives
ACTIVITY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Five of the six members of the Marginal Screenwriting Room will present their creative processes based on short film projects they have already produced. Each presentation will address different writing styles and the film already shot.

Speakers:
Edson Spitaletti

Film director, screenwriter, and sound technician. Master's student in communication at Anhembi Morumbi University, researching the standardization of narrative structure in Netflix original films. Edson holds a degree in film and a postgraduate degree in audiovisual screenwriting. Screenwriter and director of the documentary "Bárbara - A força da ancestry" (2025). He also won the "Aldir Blanc" 2020 grant for the development of the short film script entitled "O canto da cigarra" (The Song of the Cicada).
Fabiola Andrade

Director, screenwriter, and executive producer. Fabi holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), a postgraduate degree in Film Industry, and in 2019, she completed a technical course in Film Directing at the International Film Academy (AIC). She directed and wrote the short film 25 Years Without Asphalt, which in 2020 won the Doc Society Award in the United Kingdom in recognition of her work as an Impact Documentarian. In 2024, Fabi was executive producer and production manager on the feature film The Faithful, currently in post-production. In 2025, she joined the team of the series Geniais, directed and written by Fábio, a production of Ultravioleta.
Isabella Lopes

Executive producer of the short films Entre Janelas (2017), Trançado de Arrasto (2018) and Viveza (2025). A technician in Audio and Video Production, she specializes in Film Distribution and Exhibition from the Instituto de Cinema, working primarily in the areas of Production and Executive Production. Currently, she is a master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Image and Sound at UFSCar, with research funded by CNPQ, where she investigates audience and reception of serial works.
Joyce Cury

Photographer, audiovisual filmmaker, and educator. She holds a degree in Journalism with a specialization in Media Languages, a Master's degree in Image and Sound, a technical degree in Audio and Video Production, and is a doctoral candidate in Science, Technology, and Society. She researches languages related to Audiovisual media and Photography. Joyce is also an educator at the Photography Center of the Instituto Criar and the Escola Livre de Cinema e Vídeo de Santo André.
Juliano Angelin

Educator, screenwriter, and video editor. He holds a Technical Degree in Audio and Video Production from ETEC Jornalista Roberto Marinho and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo. Juliano also graduated from the Escola Livre de Cinema e Vídeo de Santo André and is an educator at IbiraLab.

Priscila Ferreira

Screenwriter, journalist, audiovisual producer, and podcaster. She was an executive production assistant on the feature film "Os Fiéis" (currently in post-production). She began her audiovisual career in production and has recently worked as an assistant director on advertising films. Podcaster, producer, content planner, and screenwriter at Submundo Streamers, a channel dedicated to Pop Culture and underground art.
