Moira Toledo discusses the strengths and specificities of short and feature-length formats for audiovisual production. Focusing on screenwriting and directing, the discussion revolves around the structural particularities of each format, exploring narrative, temporal, and aesthetic choices in the exploration of different languages.

  • Moira Toledo

    Moira Toledo (he/him), a trans man, filmmaker, researcher, coordinator of Audiovisual Workshop projects, and tenured professor of Directing at FAAP since 2010. He has directed several fictional short films and the feature-length documentary "Educate and Resist" (2022). He studied Cinema - FAAP-SP (2002), holds a master's degree in Communication and Semiotics - PUC-SP (2004), a doctorate in Communication Sciences - ECA/USP (2010), and completed a Post-doctorate in Education - UFRJ (2019).
