ACTIVITY FOR PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS
Kinoforum Labs – Kino Incubator is a development lab for short film projects aimed at Brazilian filmmakers selected for the 36th Kinoforum - São Paulo International Short Film Festival.
The workshop aims to develop and enable the production of short films, targeting filmmakers, screenwriters, directors, and producers, guiding projects through collaborative meetings with professionals in directing, production, and distribution. At the workshop's conclusion, participants will present their projects in a pitching session open to the public and audiovisual industry experts.

Moira Toledo

Moira Toledo (he/him), a trans man, filmmaker, researcher, coordinator of Audiovisual Workshop projects, and tenured professor of Directing at FAAP since 2010. He has directed several fictional short films and the feature-length documentary "Educate and Resist" (2022). He studied Cinema - FAAP-SP (2002), holds a master's degree in Communication and Semiotics - PUC-SP (2004), a doctorate in Communication Sciences - ECA/USP (2010), and completed a Post-doctorate in Education - UFRJ (2019).

Guilherme Xavier

Guilherme Xavier, director, producer, and screenwriter at Oeste Cinema. Founder of the Old West Audiovisual Hub. He has directed short films selected for festivals such as Curta Kinoforum, Brasília Film Festival, Curta Cinema, Tiradentes, Mostra de Gostoso, Kinoarte, Vitória Film Festival, among other Brazilian festivals. Two-time winner of the Canal Brasil Short Film Award. Finalist in the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix, selected for the Clermont-Ferrand festival and 31 other international festivals with the short film 'Ainda Restarão Robôs Nas Ruas do Interior Profundo' (There Will Still Be Robots in the Streets of the Deep Interior).

Lidia Damato
Lidia Damatto studied film at FAAP, UCLA (USA) and DFFB (Germany). She worked in development at Ambush Entertainment in Los Angeles, production and curation at festivals such as Ambulante California, and international sales at FiGa Films and O2. She is a partner at the international sales and consulting agency More Than Films, a mentor at Berlinale Toolbox, and manager of the Locarno Industry Academy Brazil. She also works as a consultant for various festivals and markets such as Rotterdam, Cinemundi, FAM - ECM, among others. She participated in Berlinale Talents, Locarno Industry Academy, and Torino Film Lab.
